Blackwoman 2018

By | APE works | No Comments

Our BlackWoman fashion show showcased the best of four emerging designers and 20 models back in June 2018 with Catwalk Shows, Human Rights Presentations, and Cultural Debates. In September 2018, during London Fashion Week, APE as part of its community work, help stage Catwalk Shows with an addition of a Natural Skin Care Product market place, with a Designer Showroom organised throughout the day for potential buyers to talk directly with designers.

BlackWoman brings awareness in relation to discrimination that still takes place within the fashion and creative industries and society as a whole. The right not to be discriminated against is a right that belongs to everybody (regardless of colour), whatever our differences; BlackWoman goes a long way towards helping make this a reality within the fashion industry.
